Dr. Cristina R. Antonescu is a world-renowned pathologist and the Director of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is a leading expert in the molecular characterization of rare sarcomas in children and young adults. Dr. Antonescu earned her medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, and completed her residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by fellowships in oncologic pathology and sarcoma research at MSK.
