Dr. Jamie N. Bakkum-Gamez is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist and a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. With over 20 years of experience, she is a recognized expert in the surgical treatment of complex gynecologic cancers and the development of innovative screening tests for early cancer detection. Dr. Bakkum-Gamez co-leads the Women’s Cancer Program at the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is also internationally recognized for her NIH-funded research on minimally invasive biospecimen collection for endometrial cancer.
