Dr. Lauren F. Alexander, MD

Description

Dr. Lauren F. Alexander is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and a distinguished diagnostic radiologist at the Mayo Clinic in Florida. In 2021, she was named Associate Dean of the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences at the Florida campus. She also serves as Program Director for the Body Imaging Fellowship and as Medical Director for the Radiography Program. Dr. Alexander earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Florida and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has received multiple honors, including the 2021 RSNA Honored Educator Award and several “Best Paper” awards for her work in abdominal and genitourinary radiology.
