Dr. Clyde W. Yancy

Description

Dr. Clyde W. Yancy is the Magerstadt Endowed Professor of Medicine, Chief of Cardiology, and Vice Dean of Health Equity at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. A former President of the American Heart Association (2009–2010), he is a globally recognized leader in heart failure management and health disparities research. Dr. Yancy earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and serves as Deputy Editor for JAMA Cardiology.
