Dr. Terry Kim, MD

Description

Dr. Terry Kim is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the Chief of the Cornea and External Disease Division at Duke Health. He directs the Refractive Surgery Service at the Duke University Eye Center and serves as a Professor of Ophthalmology at Duke University School of Medicine. In 2024, Dr. Kim was named Chief Medical Officer at Alcon. A Past President of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), he has been repeatedly recognized in Newsweek’s “America’s Best Eye Doctors.” He also serves as a consultant to the FDA’s Ophthalmic Devices Panel and provides specialized ophthalmic care for the Duke Men’s Basketball Team.
