Dr. Melissa Piliang is the Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic, where she has been a staff physician since 2006. Double board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology, she also serves as an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. A Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), Dr. Piliang earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed both her residency and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. A nationally recognized expert on hair loss disorders and dermatopathology, she has authored over 90 peer-reviewed scientific papers and numerous textbook chapters.
